That's absolutely not true. Design changes are product decisions made by multiple staff members and not about keeping their jobs.

That is a horrible idea! Even if old notes are preserved, the ability to leave notes shouldn't be completely removed!

They did this a few months ago, and everyone hated it so much that they changed it back in less than a day. They didn't even change it to add back notes and views, they didn't learn anything! Don't worry Martin, I know that none of this is your fault. It's not the end of the world or anything either, just moderately annoying.

It was changed back due to some bugs and a missing feature. The bugs were fixed and feature added

This new design is less informative and makes my life much more difficult as a club adminstrator. Almost every change chess.com makes is for the worse. What is good about this? Is it more 'sleek'? Who cares!

YEAH. BUT WHY??? WHY ARE THERE NO NOTES? 😭🙏🏻 I USE THOSE NOTES TO COMMUNICATE WITH SOME OF MY FRIENDS. THERE WAS LITERALLY NOTHING WRONG WITH THE OLD PROFILE, IN FACT I LIKED IT MORE! THI NEW ONE JUST MADE IT WORSE, NO NOTES, VIEWER COUNT OR FOLLOWER COUNT! (sorry for the caps kinda mad rn)

same im kinda mad too. No viewer count or follower count. Please install just those elements in the extra space in the profile region where the "Friends" are written. I assure that there will be no harm incurred if just those words and the number is inserted there.
