Did focus mode go away?

I think it was called "focus mode," wasn't it? Well, whatever it was called, it allowed you to hide the sidebars and just have the gameboard on your screen. The controls were in the middle, see image. Was this feature removed or did I accidentally change a setting and make it go away (and if I did, how do I get it back)? Thx!

Did you hover your cursor/mouse over that section? I'm on mobile so can't easily check right now.

You should also be able to hit Z on your keyboard to enter focus mode 

I did, but my screenshot thingie makes the pointer disappear, so I couldn't show the expand/contract arrows that show up onmouseover. That's all I see now, the settings gearwheel and flip B/W at the top and the expand/contract arrows at the bottom. There used to be a few different controls there and now I don't see any except those two. I don't know how long it's been like this, so like I said, I could have borked a setting somewhere and not noticed until this week.

EDIT: I got the screenshot of the controls. This is all I see.

Oh, and Z, CTRL+Z, SHFT+Z, and ALT+Z don't do anything for me (Chrome on a Chromebook, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯).

What browser are you using. In Firefox I'm seeing the focus mode icon and Z works to enable it. Also, you are in Play correct and not the old interface? (Z still works there but the the icon doesn't show)

Is your browser zoom percentage 125%?

Dang it! I'm zoomed to 150%; at 125% I can see the buttons again. What the h*ck, Chrome? Thanks, @manekapa!

@Martin_Stahl, I'm using Chrome, build 103.0.5060.132, official, 64bit, on a Chromebook. And sadly this isn't the first display issue Chrome has presented due to zooming over 100%. Pieces captured don't display correctly (or at all) at certain zoom levels in Chrome. The next time I have a display issue, I've got to remember to check this. Dang and blast my eyes continuing to get worse! I guess if I'm playing and not reading in the forums, I've got to remember to zoom down.

Oh, and none of the kb shortcuts listed at https://support.chess.com/article/362-what-chat-commands-can-i-use-in-live-chess work for me (regardless of zoom level). Ah, Chrome...

This isn't a Chrome specific issue. I don't see the focus button with Edge or Chrome at 125% and Firefox at 120%.

Also, if you've increased the default font size of your browser, that might cause problems with the display of the captured pieces.
