Disable table slam easter egg?

Is there a way to disable the table slam Easter egg? In a recent game in the middle of a time scramble with no increment, it started to trigger and the animation overlap seemed to dramatically slow down my ability to pre-move, or at the very least caused visual stuttering that slowed down my reaction time. Additionally, I don't think I triggered it (although from what I read, it shouldn't be possible for an opponent to trigger it for both players, so perhaps I inadvertently triggered it?).
All that said, is there a way to disable the possibility of that animation playing altogether?
