Edit max players tournament gives error notice

What is the Group size? How do I change it to match the number of players?
Afer clicking on Edit Settings I see this options:

Below this there are other options that have nothing to do with this topic.
It's not clear to me what the difference is between Max Players and Groupe size. I only see an option to change the Max Players and that one does not work.
I'm organizing a tournament. I want to change the max amount of player from 7 to 8. When I try this I get this error message:
"Oops?! We noticed the following errors in your form:
Your maximum players should always be a multiple of your group size. Your group size is 8 so try 8, 16, 24, etc. "
I don't understand this. The number of invitations sent is 8.
