Recently I've been trying to reach 500 but it seems impossible. I realised that when I lose, I lose about ~16 elo, and when I win I only gain about 8. Any help?

Hmm. Looks like you are gaining about 8 when you win and losing about 8 points each time you lose.
The only ones that are different are when you play different time controls. Each time control has a separate rating. When you haven't played many games in a time control, the points change will be larger until about 10 games have passed.
