I'm not able to access my mail.chess.com. I was told that I have to be a premium member so I became a premium/Diamond member at chess.com and still can't access my mail.chess.com. Also trying to use pop3 and still not working. So now I can't email any of my students now about upcoming tournaments, activities, or lessons.

It sucks.  I hope the ping pong table at chess.com headquarters catches on fire.  lol.

This is the exact same problem I am having.  It is quite frustrating.

The thing I'm finding most annoying is that no body from chess.com has replied to any of my messages or this forum to explain what's going on (apart from Calamondin who was kind enough to let me know that my message had been passed on to someone else) !

Yes, kohai offered help but where is it? We have already described what we have tried.

the email problem might be a "deal breaker" for me.  It was the email address I used to point other things to, like if I need to fix something in one account and they want an email to get to me via, I used this.  Now I can't do that and that means problems I'm having else where can't be fixed via this email account.  I don't need to play chess.com to cause me problems and I am finding the time it will take for me to start stuff over will we more than it is worth.  I might be outta here and it might be relatively fast compared to how I generally act on things.

I found another way of accessing my chess.com email - if you're on ios (apple devices, ipod etc) you can go to the app store and download the free app called "my mail". I was able to put in my username and password and simply access my emails straightaway without having the fiddly popmail set-up process. I believe it's also available for Android devices from the google play store.

I have tried to access my e-mail by all the ways suggested in this forum, and I'm still not able to access my e-mails. Did anyone successfully access their e-mails? if so can you please tell me on how you're able to do so!

I was never able to retrieve mine despite numerous attempts using all the methods submitted in this forum.

Hey premium members, try this:

Go to your gmail account and in settings, go to Accounts and Import, you're going to "Add another email address you own".   It is NOT going to be the pop one.

I became a premium member, and I tried to go to Google with a Gmail account to get my e-mails. I ran into a problem when they said they're going to send me an e-mail to chess.com account. All I have to do is go into my e-mail on chess.com to give Gmail of verifying number, do not know how to get into my account to get to verify number can you please help!

I can see that would be a problem.  Gmail isn't going to be the answer for someone who doesn't have access to their chess.com email at all it seems.

Try Windows Live.  That's what I use to set mine up and it didn't require a verification number:

When you're downloading, just make sure you only select what you need, like the email.

You can open a ticket with support to request an appeal, but the site doesn't close accounts unless they are certain.
