Resolved: Emoticon Question

Warning: This question will read as if posed by a small child during her first day of seeing and using her first computer.  However, I assure you it is a Real question:

Sometimes when commenting in a forum, I "click on" the little yellow smiley face "icon," and I get a field of all 16 little yellow faces, and I can quickly choose one.  MOST of the time, I'm initially getting an attentuated (see? I really Do know many Big words----just not many Computer words) ----an attentuated lttle square thing [screen? pop-up?] showing only the first 3 1/2 yellow faces on the first row.  Then I have to put my "cursor" very carefully and precisely in the lower right-hand corner of the [little square thing] and "drag" it down and to the right, to expand the [square thing] so I can see all 16 "emoticons."

Am tired of dragging on that corner.Frown  Any advice?Undecided

I surprised that a shrink would drag the poor things.  Talk to them, reason with them and make them see that it is in their best interest to to come along.

Though the great emoticons committed suicide when they were 27, I still say allow the emoticons to do as many drugs as they wish. Talking to them doesn't help.

I had the same problem for awhile, but checking right now it doesn't do it anymore (I didn't notice when it stopped).

I'm using firefox right now.  If you use internet explorer (or anything else) to view websites that may make a difference.

What browser are you using? I'm using Chrome and I don't have that issue.

That's true , but sometimes reason must control emotions or you end up with violence, or a stale mate...
