Where and when did you get it?
Error message.
How about giving us the ENTIRE ERROR MESSAGE verbatim along with some context:
What were you doing when you got it?
What type of PC/MAC do you use and what OS?
Which browser are you using and what version?
To answer your question NO I doubt if anyone can help you based on the almost total lack of detail you provided.
Sorry, I'll try and catch the whole message next time it pops up.
It usually happens when I'm in 'Tactics'.
I'm using Internet Explorer, latest version. And I don't know what sort of computer i'm using or what OS means.
Jo
OS means operating system (like windows or linux). Internet explorer 9 isn't fully supported yet. Chrome is recommended.
My OS is Windows, I have Version 8 of IE, and I already have Google Chrome.
Sorry if I seem a tad thick where computer jargon is concerned. I just can't help it.
Try using Google Chrome and see if you still get the same problem. Sorry, I tend to use jargon regardless of the audience, not always a good idea.
General trouble-shooting tips: Close out the browser you're using, re-open it and try again. If that doesn't work reboot your PC for the heck of it, can't hurt and it might help. You should also clear the browser's cache which might help. In Chrome, click on the wrench (top right corner), click on options click on under the hood click on obliterate the following items (all) back to the beginning of time, honest that's how they word it.
If clearing the cache works remember to do so once a wk and/or whenever the browser starts screwing up or not working like it usually does.
You can also try using Firefox, I keep it and Chrome & Internet Explorer up-to-date on my PC all the time so I can switch around in case one browser starts acting buggy or just stops working correctly.
My grovelling apologies are in order.
Seems that although I HAVE installed Google Chrome, I was still using the old Google as my default browser. I've now made Chrome my default browser, and hey presto! It's all working perfectly. Everything is much much better (and faster). But I'll still do as you advise and go clear the cache regularly. Thanks.
Sorry to have troubled you.
My grovelling apologies are in order. Grovelling isn't necessary
actually neither is apologizing

Sorry to have troubled you. You didn't - I believe in karma, and since I've gotten useful help from total strangers on various software problems & questions, I feel obliged to help others out when I can
I keep getting an error message - something about "Ajax Response Parsing".
Can someone help?
(I've 'allowed all pop-ups')
Thanks
Jo
