There's live chess, but it's still in beta.
And by live chess, I mean G/X with X being anywhere from 1 minute to...60+?

there is a difference b/t complaining and making a suggestion... and if u read the post completely then u will see it was a suggestion..
as being a new member to chess dot com, i must first acknowledge the fact that this is a really good chess site. you can talk, play, intermingle and all. but, being that i come from a chess world where you usually finish a game within a hour or hour and a half, its a turn off for me that most of the games i have played carry on into the next day and beyond. with that being said, i would like to respectfully and humbly suggest that the creators and maintainers of this site make it so you have to make a move within 1, 2, or 5, minutes in addition to your 1, 3, 7, day time limit.. its more appealing and fun for me 2 play and finish a game in 1 day rather than 3...
this is a great website but i think that will make it a bit better.
also, i understand that, this might not be that type of chess site where u play fast without thinking or whatever.. there are a lot of websites out there that do set daily time limits, this is one. there are also those that set minute time limits. but, there are not any that have both, and this site, with all it has to offer casual chess players, is deserving enough to offer chess players both type of timelimits. and if people dont want to play 2 hour games, then they dont have to but there are players like myself who like that style of play. if this site converts and adds minute time limits, then this is were i will be chessing. but, even without the minute time limits this site it the best chess site ive ever been to...
think about it creators....
