Subscriptions are automatic renewals. If you cancel before renewal, you will not be charged. After being charged, you need to request a refund by opening a ticket.

If you paid through Apple, Apple does require that they be the ones to refund you. They won't let us :/ 

 

I am asking someone from our billing team to reach out to you about it.

Since Weinstein et al, it is much safer to "reach out" as one can easily claim that "contact" was not made.

 

To the OP.... deal with the app store and the chess.com billing staff directly be email. i have no idea why you think the rest of us are in the least bit interested in this saga.

For non-native English speakers, and those unfamiliar with the chess.com support system, "Send an email to support@chess.com" would be easier to understand.

The site does not take any money unless you sign up for a premium membership. That process is a subscription and if you do not cancel, it automatically renews.

 

From reading your other topics, it was my understanding that chess.com did what was needed and the refund was applied to your Apple store account. If that is the case, your issue is with Apple and/or your credit card company.
