How do topics become sticky, and can they be unstuck?

Can a super-admin of a group edit content in the group's forums created by other members?

Details: I've taken on a s-admin role in a group (TM Championship) that uses stuck threads as reference material for the competition, but I can't update them because they were created by the original s-admin.  I can't see a way to create a new thread, stick the new one, and unstick the old, and it doesn't seem like s-admin gives any special powers like editing in the group's private forum.

When you go into the groups forum, look to the top right side of the thread. It should say up there in red boxes Stick / Lock / Delete

If someone has already clicked Stick, the box will say Un-Stick
