and dont have a visa or other of the cards

Just a question -- how do you access the internet? from a free source or do you pay a provider? If your parents are the ones who pay those and other bills and they have decided for whatever reasons (financial or other) that you are not to have a paid membership here, I think that anyone stepping in to give you the money would be opening themselves up to a world of trouble... if you are sincere, go back to your parents after a month or so and ask again. Maybe you can do some chores or special projects for them to see if they are willing to repay you with a membership.

Chess like everything else in life requires dedication and hard work.  Nothing was ever gained by having something handed to you.

Not everything requires dedication and hardwork.  Some things come easily.  Hell, most things come easily.  Running a jackhammer is hard work.  Setting up a chess board and playing things out of a book over and over is relaxing, and dig this...fun.

Why not offer something in exchange for the membership?

For example, "I will analyze 10 of your games in detail with comments for a 1-month membership" or something to that effect.

It's the chess.com version of an odd job, and you wouldn't face the problem of getting the money from your hands into the internet.

Just wait until your birthday or the nearest holiday and ask for it then instead of any money you might receive.

Maybe you could email Eric and offer to do some online work for the group in exchange for a membership. You can still become a great player on a free membership. If you would like some suggestions on free software and chess books drop me an email. I appreciate your situation.

well sort of, well look is created some silly argument here like cheating, begging, vacation, resigning etc. etc.

Sorry,  I can't sponser you...I'm already finding it difficult paying for my own membership! :(

I was only half-joking about the betting. I was in the same boat years ago. I lived in a small town and couldn't get to the big city where the tournaments were held.

A guy needs the time to study and play chess and the cash to afford memberships and tournament entry fees. If time and money weren't factors, I guess we'd all be grandmasters.

Until then, all you can do is study on your own, read chess books, pore over games online, play for free on this site, and practice against your friends or whoever else will play. Maybe another idea is to hold a tournament where you live or start a chess club at your school.

It's my first 5 minutes on the block & the 1st post I've looked at, don't even know how big a problem we (they) are looking at.  Thought this site was a place to play free.  What is this membership you all are spending such agonizing time over?????
