He doesn't do it by himself. He is a paying customer, and the system switches vacation on when is is very low on time. When he moves in one of his games the vacation is automatically swiched of again.
Just be patient!

To clarify, we play dailies all the time, he‘s way better than me and this would/will be my first win. Super childish, i know… i think it’s supposed to be a joke but it’s just annoying really.
it says he has two months left but if he has to switch it on and off again for playing other games the time will go down quickly right?
