games dont wait the full 60 seconds to abandon on internet drop

my internet has been occasionally iffy as of late, occasionally it'll drop for a couple seconds and then promptly come back up. sometimes this happens in rapid, and i'll get the notification that it'll auto abandon after 60 seconds. problem is it almost never waits the full 60 seconds, the connection will restore with 45 seconds on the timer only for the site to tell me that i abandoned the game, why is it doing this? why even bother putting a timer if it is nothing but a lie?

yeah, but that does not appear to be how long it is taking, in blitz 10 0 it is not waiting the 60 seconds it says in that link, and is disconnecting after a mere 20 seconds or so

Ok. and? if it works for you sometimes great. it works for me sometimes too. im just saying that sometimes if it disconnects midgame and it doesnt wait the full 60 seconds before resigning. 

Do you have some example games where this occurred?
