Still seems not to work. I did some attacking drills, but no achievement yet. ;-(
though I did alot of drills... but I did not get any awards

achievments and awards are 2 different things 
Any update on this? This achievement still does not work. I attempted a drill excercice (I won) but achievement atill does not unlock. I want to try all drills, but not if the archievements do not unlock.

Developers are aware but maybe if people report it also it may help to speed it up,

My guess is that achievement bugs are very low priority and other projects and bugs keep them from being looked at.
So I'm not the only one, it really looks like a bug. Though I can understand this may not exactly be a priority, it's still a shame it hasn't been fixed yet. I hope the day will come.
P.S. That wasn't the only bug, as I had to try things and do stuff again to get awards. Now I do get awards at first attempts, so it seems to work again, but I still haven't got the Drills awards yet.

I also don’t have any drill awards, after playing multiple drills 😕

I’m also experiencing a bug where my openings aren’t showing up in my awards either. I play the London and the Semi-Slav all the time, but they’re not showing up in my trophies.
