I'm with you tonto. I had a game freeze on me mid game and then Chess.com registered it as a loss to me because, supposedly, I had logged out. I hadn't. I have contacted Chess.com about this but have heard nada from them.

Beats me. Are you using a PC or MAC? What OS are you using? What browser are you using? Did you try: clearing the browsers cache, seeing how much RAM you had available, rebooting the browser, using another browser and/or rebooting your PC (or is it a MAC)?

This has been an ongoing problem with me as well. I am a paid subscriber and play on my iPad. I'm thinking about canceling my account because I expect a response or bug fixed.

When the latest app update was released, did you install it over the one on your device ? or did you close the app, completely un-install, then install the new app ?
Have you tried closing the app, completely un-installing and re-installing (not just installing over the previous one)
me also ; i can't play 3 consecutive games without freezing; i am using windows8 32bit and 2gb ram
Yeah, it's a bug with chrome I think ...I'll be waiting for the opponent to move for 30 seconds then check the connection and the site just will not refresh. I reload chess.com and I get game abandoned! Next time it happens I'm just going to try another chess site, I'm that fed up with it.
I agree I have been playing for years seriously thousands of games and now they all freeze and I get that chess.com ...wait for ill bet it is chrome !!
