Games missing from archive

I played 3 games on my cell phone yesterday and they aren't the archive on my cell phone or my desktop. In the past I say an option to add games to the archive, whereas others seem to get auto added. I would like to better understand how that is determined. Is it too late to retrieve those game

On the website it's Play > Game History

On Android there's a Game History at the bottom of the main screen. Its currently a mixture of different types but you can look a the full history with the button on the very bottom. I assume iOS is similar

The apps are actively developed and have updates pretty often.
