Glitch in messages?

Recently, I tried to send a friend a message, it didn't go through. Once you reload it, it disappears. Also, the one red squere with the amount of messages you haven't read is always there even though you saw it 1 million times....Anyone else experiencing this problem? Anyone from Staff?

The exact same messages showed up repeatedly on my notifications yesterday. As soon as I left messages, they disappeared.
