Glitchy dark squares

I've never seen or heard if any issue similar, unless a member used the highlight option to do that on each square.

If you have browser plugins/add-ons, you might try disabling those, try in an incognito/private window/tab, or use a different browser.

When I play on Pass and play this happens often between multiple games.

I have tried the majority of the themes, and all seem to have the same problem. The first the I tried was private browsing and have closed all my tabs. If you have any more advice please share.

I am not that familiar with Chess.com, as I mostly play on Lichess, so I’m not sure what you mean by ‘Pass and Play’. Could you explain?

Pass and Play is a mobile app feature. If you're seeing the issue, especially on multiple themes, it must be something about your setup.

If you have the arrows/highlight feature enabled, it could be that but that resets after each move and would only happen if you're right-clicking squares and holding down keyboard keys. I don't think white highlights are one of the options either.

A different browser is worth trying as well.

Thanks have used Chrome and Firefox both have the same problem.

On different themes I have found that all squares with pieces on them are highlighted.
