"Good Game" tradition and chat blocked

With all of my opponents who aren't listed as friends, I put in good game after each game as I learned to do 40 years paying as a child.

Saw a high school player get get chewed out by a coach  way back when for refusing to shake hands and say good game after he lost on time. This is a part of being respectful. Onlline civilization that this is, respect seems to pretty much fade away with the relative anonymity. 

Regardless, did I do something that put me on a list to block chat so that my "good Game' gets blocked? All of my speed games show caht is blocked when I put in good game. (Been on the site for 18 years - love the fast access to keep my brain going even when I don't win.)

I get that for sure. I am on a streak of about 50 who have chat turned off. htat is why i am wondering if something else is afoot. Thanks. And it may just be luck of the draw at my ratings range.

I'm running into something similar lately where every time I try to chat, even if I'm replying to a chat that was sent to me it tells me, [username] is not available to chat.

Same problem here, it looks like a bug, or a parameter change to disable chat by default…

Yes most people have chat disabled.

In my rating range (1500) pretty much everyone.
