Google Chrome on Chess.com problem

Anyone else out there using Goole Chrome WIndows 40.0.2214.115 having problems with connecting to Chess.com?

A bit ago, everytime I try to go to chess.com, it just takes me to the google search page.

I realize it is highly unlikely it is the browser's problem but would just like to check.

I use chrome and have or had no probems.

Yeah, it was very strange. It just mysteriosly started working again.

I also use chrome and only trouble i have is getting logged-out while navigating team matches and the forums.

If you're running Windows, it might have been the update.  Microsoft hates to share.

Yeah, I think Windows is trying to compete with the new iOS watch.

It's called the 'Windows Watch'. As in, you sit and watch it try and update your computer every 5 minutes.

I never understood its updating process. I can let the system update 100%. Then, as soon as it finishes, there is the little yellow icon in the start menu saying there are new updates.

Which version of windows are you using Kleelof? I only get updates in a few weeks i guess.

I had that problem yesterday for about 10 minutes--type chess.com into the address bar and get redirected to Google.  I'm running Safari on a Mac and I figure it's one of 3 things: a) minor glitch caused by gremlins, b) I'd just updated Safari and something was snafued in the update or c) possible malware/virus.  I'm about to run ClamXav to check on the third possibility.

I've had the same issue with IE.  I think it is a chess.com issue and not chrome.

Windows 7. Idunno. I heard W8 is really bad about this.

I thi8nk you jinxed me. Yesterday my mobile phone started doing this. Every few pages I was getting logged out.

I use 8 and 8.1 without any issues.

Chrome and Facebook sometimes have a falling out. If you connect to chess.com via FB, the issues might transfer.

I started having this problem on my mobile. After a couple of days of being logged out all the time, I relized when I logged in, I forgot to check the 'Remember Me' option.

I tend to get "logged out" after logging in and clicking on forums or vote chess.  It happens about 50% of the time.

A couple of days ago, I got 502 errors every other page I loaded. It went like "Bad Gateway - 502 Error" roughly.

YEs, that is the gateway to hell. So it is considered bad.

Chess.com forums?!
