Just installed Safari. Already in the system, I have I,E. and Mozilla Firefox.plus Google Chrome.

The problem of blank chess board staring at my face, persists.Thanks for your feedback.

Thanks for the feedback. Already in the system are I.E., Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. Just installed Safari. Still have to face a blank chess board. No solutions yet.

.I took a chance and typed in www.chess.com/echess/myhome.html, and Viola !!, I could see the chess pieces on my board.  I went thru' once again of installation of the latest java script, and the deletion of old javas. Then I also installed Safari. My last action was to defragment the harddisk and run the Disk Cleanup three times. Now I think that "space" has to do with the problem, as alot of unnecessary files were blocking the transmission of the chess pieces. I sincerely hope this will be the last time that I had to endure the agony of almost losing all my remaining 20 games at Online chess.without a fight.

I am also encouraged by your patience, selflessness, and compassion to help a fellow member across the seas. Once again, I salute you, and I do not know how to thank you.As "Patience is the mother of virtues", you taught a 67 years old man like me the true meaning of patience and tolerance. Never once did you utter an unkind word to me as I was groping in the dark. You steer  me to the right path.

I will pray to my Holy Trinity, the Father,the  Son, and the Holy Spirit to protect  and bless you and your family always.

I'm glad you finally got your chess pieces! You're welcome, it wasn't only me. 

By the way, hard disk space shouldn't have anything to do with it, the space occupied by those piece images are next to nothing. I don't know what the problem was, but I hope you won't face it again. 

That is a nice sentiment. I'm glad this was a positive experience.

My joy of seeing the chess pieces on the chess board is only 50% . To access Chess.com, I have to go to Mozilla Firefox and keyed in www.chess.com/echess/myhome.html. It did not work at Google Chrome. I faced the blank chess board again at Chrome. So it is a little inconvenient for me,   everytime I wanted to access chess.com. Not that I mind at all.I am a self confessed chess addict.

So now, how do I fix the problem at Goole Chrome ???, or just leave it and continue with Mozilla Firefox. I also have another problem when making my moves at Online chess.After pressing the submission button, the system said, "Your move has been submitted. The game below is your next ready game". I checked back and found that I had to make the same move again, and the system showed,"Try making your move again.It appears that your board is not current".

 What does it mean that my chess board is not current ??.I was having this problem for quite some time, but did not bring it up as I felt that it  only entailed making the same move twice. But now with the blank board into play, it may have some connection.

I also wondered why there is no response from any of the Chess.com. staff.I was a platinum member for one year(2009-2010) After it expired, I wanted to renew, but  owing to lack of funds in my credit card,I could not.  Erik of Chess.com.wanted me to enrol again. So in September this year, my son-in-law very graciously used his credit card to pay for my Platinum membership.
