Groups are playing matches against another groups and if you are a member of any group and the match starts registering,you get automatically a message about the new match registration and if you want and if your rating range permits( some matches are only for particular rating range) you can JOIN the match by clicking on "join" button ....and when the both teams will be ready,then the match will start and you will get automatically notification that the match started! usually these matches are 3 days per move( like online games)...
sometimes after you click button "join" it takes weeks or even months untill the match starts...and sometimes it takes just a few minutes or days...
can any one tell me can you do group games with a basic membership
