I suggest that you look up their Support phone number or email address so that you can contact them and tell them exactly what you had just explained in your post above -- tell them that you love the 3-Check games and you believe you have the skill to be part of the 3-Check World Championship tournaments but that the video cameras would be a problem for you because of your age. Again, just tell them exactly what you said in your Post #1.

Don't worry, dear -- there shouldn't be a minimum age requirement to join; but if there is one, again, don't worry because there will be other 3-Check Championship games in your future.

its not about age, its about needing cameras and joining a video call

Please explain to 'Wind' that you believe you have the skill to achieve a good place in this tournament; and inquire if someone in charge of the tournament can make an exception for you, as, due to your age, you are financially unable to provide for the video cameras.

This is what I am wondering but for duck chess in September.

They're not going to make exceptions. If a player gets contacted to join a call and aren't able to meet the requirements, they'll be removed from the event.

Thank you for your response. However, shouldn't they (the tournament committee or whoever is in charge) consider making exceptions for those who have the skill but do not have the finances to afford purchasing video cameras?

All players have to play under the same set of rules for fair play. That's one of the requirements
