help posting pics

I've been trying repeatedly to upload some photos via Google Chrome, from both a Mac and a PC . I click on the "insert image" icon, choose files from my hard drive, and see the image in the preview box--but when I hit "post", the post appears without the image.

Though I haven't used it much, my account is several years old, so I assume it's not a new user restriction. Any suggestions appreciated.

While your account is older you don't have any other activity. Play some games and be active in the forums and you should be able to post images after a while.

nothing to see here--I'm just adding a few posts to this thread in hopes that it will help nudge my activity across the magic threshold where my posted pics will appear.

forgive me for spamming, if that's what this is--my primary interest is in discussion of books & equipment, and I'd like to post images in those threads, but I don't have much interest in posting in the other discussions on this site.

any other suggestions welcome...

asking again. I have a fairly extensive collection of equipment, books, and memorabilia that I'd like to post pictures of, but frankly I'm about to give up on this place.
