I believe a version of Stockfish is used.

Martin, Once the log on bug was fixed on my iPad I have no sound! I love the sound of the pieces moving as if on a wooden chess board. I've tried everything. He mentioned the toggle switches which I checked. I deleted and uploaded the app several times. Please help!

Hi! Since last 2 days I lost many games because of my android keyboard gets hanged up and I can't make move by touching and dragging any piece. At the same time the stop watch runs perfect, I can see the previous moves and my opponents win the games on time. What is this all?
