Help with match admin needed

Hi, I am a new club admin. I created a club match without auto start but I cannot see how I as the admin can actually start it? I set a minimum of 10 players per side but only 6 a side have joined, is this what is preventing me from having the option to start the match? If so is there a way I can edit the club match settings and reduce the minimum per side to 6?

You have to lock your team roster. When the opponent locks their team, the daily match will start.

In this case you won’t be able to lock since your team has not met the minimum number of players. In the future, you should create the match for 1-10 players. Or don’t enter a player limit.

I don’t think you can edit a team match after the challenge is accepted by another team.

Thanks very much Manekapa. As you suggested I have cancelled that match and recreated it. Hopefully I have learnt my lesson happy.png

I've run into the exact same problem with two of our matches. Chess.com - I'd highly recommend you address this shortcoming. I saw some posts going back to 2017 on this same topic.

Club Administrators should be able to edit match settings after the match has been accepted or they should be able to start the match even if the minimum number of players has not been met. As it stands, we'll likely have to cancel these two matches and ask people to sign up for a new match. That seems like a problem that chess.com should be able to address.
