Help With Settings - Chess Forums

About 6 months to a year ago, chess.com had this stupid idea of putting in a splash screen at the start of every game (at least on mobile, cannot speak for desktop/laptop) highlighting the 2 players, like the start of a broadcast does in sports. Is there any way to get rid of that stupid thing? When you get White, you lose a second and a half with that. Chess players don't want stupid bells and whistles. Chess players want their full minute when playing White in bullet or full 3 minutes when playing White in blitz.

Is there any way to turn off that garbage??????

Settings > Board & Pieces > Board Effects

Don't worry, he's been reported. I still post to most French threads. There just haven't been many. I also post to other openings of interest. I leave ones like the Grunfeld and Alekhine to others.

Thanks Martin. Sorry about the delayed response. Hadn't checked this thread in a day, and clearly we have one that clearly is clueless how to stay on topic.
