Hi, Is it possible to speak with someone at chess.com?

I have an issue with my settings....  with outgoing challenges I only want to do -25 but it keeps changing back to infinite, even before I've played 1 game. I'll abort but after 4 or 5 aborts I only have the option to play or resign. I know it doesn't sound like much but it's so irritating changing the setting then not having it work! I tried reporting it is a bug a few days ago but there was no response. Does anyone know how to fix it or is there a way to speak to someone at chess.com who will know what to do? Would be very grateful! Thanks, Harry

This article from Help explains how to adjust your settings:

You don't want to continue aborting.  As you noticed, too many aborts and you lose the option.

That's what I'm doing, it just keeps changing back. It's know it's annoying aborting games but I'm doing it because it's matching me with people 100 points below me literally 5 seconds after I've changed the setting to only do -25.

I don't mean to insult you but are you clicking save?

Don't worry about insulting me, it's probably something stupid! But yes I am clicking save.

It's a known issue and I believe there is a fix rolling out for the problem by the end of the week (or it will be rolled out to everyone by then).

I was just playing a game, it was Whites move. White didn't move for a long time. When White finally did more, it immediately told me I lost. No Check or threat was made. What's going on here!??

You probably disconnected. When you are disconnected, you wouldn't see your opponent's move. When you refreshed and saw white's move, you had already lost the game.

Are you saying that as I was sitting here waiting for White to move, my computer disconnected me, unbeknown to me?

Yes, you were disconnected from the Chess.com live game server.

.I can't really speak to the client side code and how it determines if there's an issue or not. However, if you're disconnected, that's the only code that could do anything.
