Highting Moves with MacOS

How do I highlight moves on the analysis board, using MacOS? When I hold down the Control Key (the equivalent to the "right-click" in Windows) and drag, it highlights the the square I drag to in red to but doesn't create a yellow line showing the path of the move. Thanks.

If you play with a trackpad, click two fingers and drag to draw arrows.
