Can you go into settings /applications /manage applications / chess.com
clear data and force stop, then un-install and go back onto the market place and re-install the app.
I updated my Wildfire and the Home/House icon is working for me.
Let me know once you've either re-installed or updated if its still not working.

I already un-installed the chess.com android app because I didn't like it and much prefer using the chess.com site. So I just play directly from the chess.com site, but when I play directly from the chess.com site the HOME icon doesn't do anything.
So I don't have an app to un-install and re-install.
I can't think how to fix this, as I'm not really a computer wiz!
I guys, when I'm playing on my phone (HTC Desire - Android) the HOME icon doesn't appear to work. I play using the chess.com site rather that the app because I prefer it. Is the is a common problem or is it just me?
