Thank you!
Hello, Forums. I worked with a Chess coach today and played a few rapid games where he gave me some hints. I was a bit concerned about fair play since I was getting outside help, but he just told me that he's done it this way before. It didn't seem practical to try to sort it out during the lesson so I figured I'd just try to sort it out after. Now, looking into it, I can't find a way to report it to Chess.com.
So here are my questions...
1: Is it possible to let Chess.com know that I was working with a coach for a few of my games so they can adjust the ELO if they decide it's necessary?
2: In general, are there steps that I can take to ensure fair play while working with a coach? Working with a coach in real time is probably one of the best ways I can learn and I imagine it's fairly common to do this.
Thanks.
