It's not that hard. Millions of people have figured it out. At the bottom of the page, there is a link to "Try the new chess.com!" which will make it work and look more like the apps.
If that doesn't work, you can play live chess using the correspondence games. There's no reason you have to play that slowly. You can play live chess.

I have the Chess.com APP on my google android cell phone.
I watch and play almost every night.
..and i know how to play my friend, MP7701 ..if he's online.
But today again, i'm trying once more here at my aunt's house, on a iMac to play my friend, ..and i can't figure anything out.
The only thing i can seem to do is to challenge him to a GAME that can 1 move per day, or 1 move every 14 days.
I want to play him LIVE chess !
I've spent the past 30 minutes trying to click on everything ..going to his profile ..and yes he was online
I can't even PLAY a GAME of CHess with him !!!!!
How do you do this ?
I like CHess.com on my cell phone .....But thusfar, find the website Chess.com ..to be completely difficult and impossible to even play my friend with !
