It’s now no longer possible to block anyone. Usually if you want to block someone, you tap twice on their profile picture, and you see the word “ More “ this will then show various things you can do, one of them is the word “ Block “ …..however as soon as you touch on the word “ More “ it just brings you straight back to the profile picture ….which means it’s now no longer possible to block anyone anymore ! 🤷♂️

It also means that you just have to put up with any nasty stuff that a member might aim at you ! ….this site needs to do something about this pronto ! 😤

Try actually going to their profile page and clicking on "More" there. Maybe that will work...

I’ve already trying pressing on the word “ More” but it just brings me back to the person’s profile picture again !

No, I mean try right-clicking on the person's name, then selecting "Open link in new tab" (or something similar, depending on your browser). That should bring up a direct link to that person's profile page. Then click on "More" there.

It would be helpful if someone could explain why this is happening ! ….why must I continue to get nasty stuff aimed at me , and not have the ability to block these people !

The only explanation that you're going to get is "there's a ticket in on it". (And that's only because of Martin. If Martin wasn't here, you wouldn't even get that much.) The site isn't very good at communication...

What i would like to know, is why it’s no longer possible to block these people, as I always have done , by going to their profile and touching on their photo twice, seeing the word “ More “ which then shows me the word “ Block “ ….it’s always worked for me in the past ! 🤷♂️

It's clearly a bug that was accidentally introduced when other changes to the code were made by the programmers. I'm sure it will get fixed eventually...well, maybe...

Well, the other mods do stuff like lock threads, mute people, ban people, delete spam, delete cookie-face pfps, etc. But Martin seems to be the only one who's active in "Help & Support".

But the other mods are scarcely seen , when ever they need to do those things. Some of the nasty stuff, seems to hang around for ages ! 🤷♂️

The mods just may be understaffed, idk. I'd love to know the inner workings of being a mod, but I don't think I'd actually want to be one to find that out. My spidey sense tells me that being a mod may not be a bed of roses... (That is, there are probably some directives from above that wouldn't sit well with me,)

Hey Woolly - I *just* now tried the standard blocking method, and it appears to be working. Give it a try and let me know if it's working for you now.
