How do you refer a friend?

so to befriend someone? Go to their profile and click 'add to friends list' or something like that.

I think doing it on the following form would work for a referral: http://www.chess.com/home/add_friend
Also, the following page shows how to create a link to provide your friends so you will get a referral when they sign up; at the bottom of the page it will provide text to add after any link to the site that will give you the referral:
