There's this weird club, I am wondering how to report it. Can someone please help?

I don't think we can report a club

Open a ticket with support.

I had the same question when I found a disturbing club just now.. I wonder if it’s the same club.

The Ideas Room is run by children. Is that the sort of thing you mean?

I think you should contact chess.com support who will then terminate the club

It’s okay. Better than umm you know.

It has become a QAnon hangout.

I wasn’t thinking about that club. happy.png No worries...

I just saw a club which was not appropriate for this site in my opinion .

I read somewhere that we are not allowed to call out usernames in the forum, so I guess that also counts for clubs.
And I respect that...

I went for a look but you can only report users and not clubs...

Really? I just joined but didn’t read much. However the prolific Mr. P is certainly not QAnon.

chrissy is

I only asked the question as a for instance. The OP did not specify what makes the club “weird”.

I’m in The Ideas Room, and I think the kid in charge is doing a surprisingly good job. Ignorance abounds there, but there are some good discussions, too.

I was not suggesting reporting the club. Sorry if you misunderstood.

Uhm... this is confusing and my English is terrible. ...happy.png

I wasn’t saying you were telling me to report. THAT part was a reaction on another persons comment. ( to contact chess.com support) happy.png

I probably used the button for quoting other comments wrongly.

I typed it all in one message so ... sorry! My mistake... happy.png...

You can contact an admin. Also, you could private message me the name and I’ll mention it to Community Defenders.

But many community defenders why they don’t post in forums? How do they defend community?

Most members of that group are quite active in forums.

That’s good to know.

I’ve been in the group more than a year, and I have identified a great many accounts, threads, and avatars that violate the site’s policies. When I mention them in that group, they get acted on quickly by those who have the authority.

You would be amazed to know how often pornography appears on this site and how quickly it gets taken down, for instance.

I am considered a teenager, I think, and my club is the best on chess.com. At least you can have the most fun there.

If you are happy with it, that’s what matters the most.

Bruvoskity

It's not me that's happy with it.

Our members  are the ones who are happy with it. grin.png that's what matters to me.

This club was established as community defender.

However, community felt like that.
