How to cancel a draw offer?

In the Daily Chess, I sent my opponent an offer to draw. Can I cancel it? And for how long (how many moves) will the offer be valid?

As far as I know it's not possible to cancel a draw offer.

If your opponent makes a move (or declines) then the draw offer is no longer valid.

the chess.com print out contradicts itself:

erikbergren offered a draw
erikbergren cancelled a draw offer

I cancel draw offers every day, one in about twenty of them don't work do to a bug, like the game above, where chess.com says to you the draw is cancelled but then changes its mind.
