How to get to the Chess.com homepage?

I think you're looking for the News link on the sidebar, above Social and below Watch.
Everytime I try to play a game with my user name alanbnow the screen freezes. This has been happening in the last few days.

If you're using the website, try clearing your browser cache.
If you're on one of the apps, make sure you're on the newest version.
It used to be I click on the Chess.com logo and I can get to the homepage. Where all the news and info is displayed.

But not any more. It redirects me to my own homepage. https://www.chess.com/home
Which is not where I want to go.
So what is up with this change? Even when I type in Chess.com it still keeps on redirecting me to my "homepage".
