Go to Live Chess, where you can shorter time controls.
How to limit friend challenge to 1 minute per move:
Ok,
So I understand that once my friend will be online he will show up in friends tab then I will be able to sat up a challenge with its paramaters (time per move etc) by right-click?
Yes. If your friend is in live chess then you can go to the friend's tab and you'll see him or her online. Then you can send a challenge and customize the game. You'll see something like 15 I 10 which means each player has 15 minutes and the 10 stands for 10 seconds added to each move. So after a player makes a move, they get 10 seconds added to their clock. But you can customize the game however you like. Click on the custom option and then you'll be able to customize the game to your liking.
Big thanks I'm nearly there ;) so the first value in your example (15 | 10) means total thinkng time for a single player or maximum allowed time per move? -I guess it's the first one? Then there are also options like: 1 min , 3 mins -they look more like time limitations on single moves -am I right? And option: "custom" sub-option: "time" refers to time limit per move or whole of single players allowance?
Hi all,
I might be asking a very simple question but am new to the platform (on free account atm):
When challenging a friend to a game:
How to limit time per move to less than 1 day (e.g. 1 minute) -I haven't seen this functionality when setting up the challenge (the options were counted in days so the "quickest" one was 1 day per move).
Thanks for your help.
