How to turn off annoying notifications in the Android app.

Android app sending annoying notifications like "Up for a game?" in f'n 2 AM!!!
For christ's sake, I don't want to get any other notifications than an active game. How can I turn off these dumb notifications? Nothing on the settings. I'm tired of Chess.com spamming my phone.

You can select notification options in the settings on Android. Go to settings and notifications, and there you can go under chest.com app and select what notifications, if any, you want

And if you're getting woken up at 2:00 a.m., maybe turn on the bedtime mode option?

Android settings turn off all notifications. I still want to receive the notifications on an active game but not the spam.

Settings->Notifications->App settings->Chess, select it from this list and there is a drop down menu for which notifications you want.  Deselect everything but "play" and I think you should just get game notifications

Huh. There are no app settings under the notifications. There is only "included apps" where I can turn notifications off for the entire app. I'm using S22 is it different for other people?

I have android 13. Dunno. When I click the icon it goes into another menu with options. Click the icon not the toggle, Then when you click toggle from there to turn on notifications a bunch of options should drop down below
