Hello gilligan.
I have a work-around to this..so I hope it helps.
1. Go to google.com/translate
2. In the tabs...the left should be English and for the right select French (or whichever language you want).
3. In the translating box, type in www.chess.com
4. The link should show up, just click on it and you should be in the french version of chess.com

We're in the process of translating the site into a few different languages.
At the bottom of the page you'll see an option that says "help translate". Click on that and then choose the language that you'd like the site to display in. The translations are still inthe first phases, so if you see any necessary corrections let us know :)
