How to use the site

I think I know what you're asking about, but if I'm wrong please correct me!
-The numbers are the evaluations of particular moves. An engine evaluates a position and outputs a score. A score of +1 would mean that white's position is roughly 1 pawn's worth better than black. Negative numbers represent positions that are in black's favor.
-The percentages I'm not clear on. Are you referring to the percentages in game explorer? If so, those represent the outcomes of games in the database when a particular move is played. The white percentage is for white wins, the grey percentage is for draws, and the black percentage is for black wins.
Can you let me know if you needed something different?

Hi Kirkwood: Yes, you understood and answered my question. Three emails later and support doesn't seem to understand. I'll ignore the noob comment and spelling joke. Some people seem to never add value to the world. I think my main problem is I'm using the iPad app which is severely limited! Support doesn't seem to realize the difference, but now that I know, I'll come here for answers. A couple of side notes, which may be different on this website. On the app you can't search for specific GM games or openings, the lessons have inaccurate notations(I could give numerous examples), and there is no help button. You have to find the back door to come close. You also can't find your threads which is a piece of cake on this internet site. To Chess.com: If your going to make an app that lacks so much, just put a link in a reasonably easy place to find that directs you to the website for more info;) Thank you Kirkwood!!!! Your the first person in 6 weeks to understand my question! On the app there is no game explorer either. All of this I just found today by coming to the website.

Kirkwood: I finally COMPLETELY understand all the notations and percentages. You told me straight up, but the light finally clicked on every question. Thank you!
Wow, how difficult can it be to get intro instructions? What do the numbers mean before the recommended moves in analytics? What do the percentages mean by the recommended moves? I have many more questions. Why isn't there a guide or a question mark by all these features?
