Husband Can't get on

My husband tried to get on and he gets a message saying There are no users with the username or email address you specified. Please try again. He used Chess.com this morning and it worked fine.

yes, he is my only friend, and it tells me he was on 4 hours ago, when he did the daily puzzle.

Web site. I can get on my account without any problems. He is very upset now... I tried it on my phone too, and it says the same thing..

Maybe he "accidentally" mis-typed his user name.

No we tried 100 times... didn't mistype his user name

Usually, if people try to log on unsuccessfully that many times, they get locked out.

it happened on the first time and the second time... He is still getting emails with the email provided to Chess.com. This never happened before.

I see him on my friend list, and it's telling me there is no account with that email address or user name.

When I logged in using his Username it works, but when I log in using his email address, it doesn't work... so confused..

It's possible there's a typo in the email on the account. I just verified that email login is working for me.

I tried to use the email address again, and I made sure there wasn't any typos.. Still doesn't work..

What browser is being used?

Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome. Why can't he sign in with his Username and not his email
