I can't chat, why?

I don't know why but I can't chat in a live game. I almost always play with the app for Android.

I have always been polite to other players.

When I send a text it's disappear.

I live in Sweden and very often the connection between me and the player is not so good.

It have happened before that other players wasn't so nice to me in the chat. Unfortunately I couldn't answer them.

I don't know what to do. It's not very often I chat, but it would be nice to have the opportunity to do so.

If you have been automatically muzzled for saying something forbidden, it usually goes away after a day or so.

Karma maybe ? Did you do bad things in a previous life ?

The problem is now solved. The support didn't know why I was muted.

Actually you have to activate your account from the email id associated with chess.com

I have faced the same problem. It is resolved now.

I activated my account and still can't chat on the app this is garbage fix the app

Nothing works in our garbage society anymore can't even make a simple chess app work

Same issue on Android app. Could always chat in daily games and now the button is grayed with an X. Has been this way for over a week now.

Most Hanes should be fixed but there may be some that aren't. All new games should work correctly with chat enabled.

How come i can't chat or my rankings aren't showing in friends rankings?

I even had a month premium account and still couldn't chat and show my ranking among friends? Chess support also isn't replying?

Me too. You must go to Gmail and activate that link. After that you can send comments and make other things.

Go to your mail app. There will be a message from chess. Com. There, you can activate your account. I had the same problem but now it's resolved. Before that I cannot chat, but now I can.
