I have been falsely accused of cheating

I was informed that one of my skype contacts sent in a false report and fabricated proof that I was cheating. The user edited her name out of the screenshot and replaced it with my name instead.

That literally would have no weight as evidence.

Why do you have a person like that as a Skype contact?

       You Skype people should all watch the movie, "UNFRIENDED"  and be afraid. Be VERY VERY afraid. Oh yes, there WILL be blood.

Photoshop? Probably Windows Paint editor and Snipping tool.

Hello, I am new to the world of chess, and I am wondering how chess players "cheat". I promise I'm not trying to do it myself haha, im just curious what people mean by that. It seems impossible, but again Im new.

They can use an engine when playing online, even OTB (that's the main reason for banning smartphones in tournament halls). A tip for OTB play: when your opponent offers his/her hand in a hopeless position, make sure he/she means resignation before shaking it.

chess.com doesn't rely solely on accusations of cheating: they have their own cheat detection methods as well. If you're not actually using a chess engine, then you won't have any problems.

You shouldn't worry as chess.com looks at games of the person being accused of cheating.
