I keep getting the same puzzles

On the desktop site, I keep getting the same puzzles, mixed with new ones. I have cleared the browser's cache/cookies and logged in again, but the problem persists.

I think I read that there was a similar bug for the mobile app; does it exist for the website as well?

There was a temporary bug on the apps, based on the way puzzles are pulled for them, but that was fixed. As far as I'm aware there is no known issue with that on the web at this time.

Thanks for the reply. Maybe there were no duplicates in the latest puzzles, but I have been playing a lot of them lately, and some of them even repeated three or more times.

Is there anything I can do to help you find the problem? Do you want me to keep track of the next repetitions and report them after a while?

It's certainly possible to get repeat some repeated puzzles over a large number of them. I've had days where I done 100+ and probably got a couple of repeats.

There are some changes to the system, that some members have, that might result in some repeats as well. It's also possible there are different puzzles with very similar positions and the same solution patterns.

I'm not sure how far back staff can look on history, but if you see the exact same puzzles within a smaller group that could indicate an problem. A couple of repeats over 100+ probably isn't.

I can't give an exact percentage, but there are several repetitions every day, and they are the exact same puzzles. My bias tends to see an association with the puzzles I have struggled with more. If you tell me this is expected, I'll just ignore it.

Today I have been given the same puzzle 7 times in a row. I feel like Bill Murray in Groundhog Day.

I have the same issue on my phone. I have the the same puzzle again et again. If you don't fix that i will looking for an other chess app
