Illegal Move?

You're trying to move your white pawn on f2 down to f1 to get a queen? Yes that's illegal. Your white pawn cannot move backwards. It must go UP the board all the way to f8 to get a queen. Did you forget which direction you are playing?

As far as I can see it, you don't have nor ever had a pawn that you could promote into a queen. Pawn on c7 and H7 are BLACK, and you only have a pawn on f2, which can move without problem.

P.S. Since your position is so bad, I woul'd recomend you to show good sportmanship and resign right away.

Smile Happens to all of us. I once tried to take my own pawn.

Well - thanks I guess.  ha ha I was trying to move the wrong flippen way ha ha

Good thing it wouldn't let you.  Promotions on the first rank always result in black pieces, so you'd only have been helping your opponent.

That is one of the beauties of playing online rather than OTB (over the board).  You cannot make an illegal move. When you make it OTB, not only is it embarrassing -- but there is a penalty.
