Non of the statistics load when I go to insights it is all empty, I know I have selected filters that I have games on like: rapid-ranked-all time.
Am I just stupid and missing something or is it a bug?

It appears on the homepage itself where you can see your ratings and other stats. Last option is 'insights'. Just click on that and if it's for the first time you are visiting that page, it might show something like " you may leave the page, once your insights is ready we will notify you". And you will get notification once after it's ready after 2-3 days.

I am not sure, but I have seen many people reporting issues with insights feature on forums. So, better you contact the support team regarding the problem . They will definitely assist you
