I really do not see how you are helping either. The app is not working. We are not happy about paying for a service which do not work as we expect. The fact that you do not expect the app to be working does not change other peoples perception. Chess.com should either make it clear that the customers cannot expect to use the app for playing live games, or fix the problem.

thats due to the old stats bug, use the site, u can use site on mobile

cuz u dont know how it works, ur just being the regular stubborn ppl who think so, as in online karens, like why tf expect, even the site name suggests, chess.com, like why do 90% of people use it on the site but u guys are like no lets use the app even though we can usee the site, using a mobile to play also shows u arent really into chess 

and why tf complain about bad device when ur device is from like the 1800s, at least use the right versions and etc

Guys, this duntcare is not a representative of chess.com, just ignore him, he's just a keyboard warrior, looking to annoy people with his BS. 

He's a know nothing troll, with no information, see notmtwain above, just block him and ignore.  There is no point in arguing with someone who thinks there were iOS devices in the 1800s

It is happening still in a different way and you are more likely to lose by abandonment. Before when it crashed I could reload and get back in 99 percent of time before loss by abandonment. Now if it happens (you make a move and it doesn’t register now. Clock keeps running and you can’t do anything as already played your move) it is rare to get back in. I have just lost a game by abandonment trying to sign back in. Very frustrating

I have the same Problem on ios 14 with the 3.9.15(2).
Especially damaging on bullet games of course...

Same problem. The only way I found for the ⏰ to start again is to ask for null to my opponent 😞

There’s a lot of pages here and I’m not going to read all of them. But has this happened to anyone? I’ll make a move, but my clock still runs as though I haven’t made a move. Then I lose on time.

Doing my head in. Game after game it freezes and then restarts and my clock has run down and I lose through Abandonment! Im paying a lot of money for premium membership. Totally sucks!

Yes, I have the same issue recently on iphone. Before that it did not happen, I played months without that problem. Now it happens in every game. Only help is to offer draw and than time ticks for your opponent. But if I am winning and they accept it ends with draw.
