Look, I could obviously be wrong if there is some underlying nuance here, but this sounds like an overnight fix type of thing. It’s been months for me alone, others have had issues earlier (could be caused by a different bug though).

It only impacts specific device types and an interaction with an iOS setting on how it uses space. As far as I'm aware it's not a simple fix.

Version 4.5.1 should have a fix specifically for the M4 iPad Pro and M2 iPad Air (11 and 13 inches).
For More general size issues, not related to the above fix, the Display Zoom > More Space setting on the device should set to Default

OK, now it works with the Display Zoom set to default, but that's kind of ridiculous still since the user shouldn't have to change standard settings to ensure the app works properly...

Chess.com management, can you please FIX THIS?? It’s not appropriate for a paid app to not support a basic feature of the platform it’s sold on. I’ve been asking for over a year, and all I get is total BS answers like “it’s on our roadmap”. Your analysis works in full screen, your puzzles work in full screen, I’m pretty sure I could figure it out for you if I had access to the codebase for one day. What are you guys doing???
This has been around for years, whoever thought “more space” “larger text” “default” display zoom should mean there needs to be 3 separate sizes for the game screen needs to be sacked immediately. It should be full screen regardless of if you use for display zoom.
It does work properly for display zoom set to “larger text” but 90% + iPad people use default of ‘more space’ zoom. Meaning for 90% of people chess com app is unusable. Shame, literally begging you to try competitor platforms.
